How to Get the Christmas Tree Taken Down |

Okay, maybe this isn't how a Christmas tree SHOULD be taken down, but it is how the tree WAS taken down at our house in January of 2000. I was on the phone with a customer when the dogs started barking. Seems the fine folks at UPS had a delivery to make here at the Fish household. When the doorbell rang, I went down the stairs (ain't portable phones wonderful?) and saw through the front door's window that the UPS driver was walking down the driveway towards his truck. Figuring that I could worry about the delivery later, I went back upstairs while continuing to talk with my customer. The dogs continued to bark and carry on, so I closed my office door at went back to work. Several hours later I went back downstairs, and discovered that not only had our multi-talented dogs let the UPS driver know that he better never, ever think of coming into our house, they'd taken down our Christmas tree for us. What GREAT dogs, eh?
